This is the Swedish recipe site for meat dishes.
The same recipes will be published in both Swedish and English. Sometimes I do minor adjustments as the Swedish kitchen might offer ingredients that is not globally available.
As meat is cut differently in different countries I sometimes mention both a suitable cut for the Swedish recipe and the more common cut from USA, Canada or France as many countries cut their meat as in one of these countries. In my experience after lived in 4 different countries is that a butcher often can cut a piece the way one likes it. I usually show a picture of the animal and ask them for that piece.
But similar cuts often works well and I give suggestions so I hope you find a good cut of meat that works well.
The recipes are tested by me and I like them!
I’m happy to hear comments if you like them too. And if you have suggestions for accompany dishes, side dishes and sauces.
If you have a good wine paring I know both me and other followers are interested so please share in comments.
Not all ingredients can be found all around the world.
Always be careful when substitute. As an example a teaspoon of flake sea salt (fling salt) is less salt than regular table salt.
