The other day when I was in SoHo doing some shopping I grabbed the opportunity to go to Lure Sushi and Oyster bar (corner Mercer St and Prince St).

A friend had recommend their oysters so I started with 1/2 a dozen and of course accompanied by a glass of champagne. Briny plump East Beach Blonde oysters from Rhode Island and a crisp glass of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut. What better starter can one asks for!

For main course I grabbed their signature Lobster roll. This was the best lobster roll I have ever had! The roll was lightly toasted and the ratio lobster to mayonnaise was just right! Meaning more lobster than mayonnaise! The finely chopped chives just made it a wonderful combination. The roll was accompanied with their homemade chips!

In Sweden we have a traditional seafood toast called Toast Skagen – and this was the closest to a Toast Skagen I ever got on this side of the Atlantic.
