I walked by my fish guy and he had these lovely trouts laying around. I couldn’t resists not buying them.

I always oven-bake my trouts whole. The fisherman will gutted them for you but keep the head on as it will help keep the moisture inside when oven baking!

I usually fill my trouts with dill butter but for this Friday I instead mix my butter with some chopped fresh herbs: rosemary and thyme leaves. And I add some lemon slices that will give moisture as well as lovely fresh flavor to the fish! Trout, herbs and lemon – a great combination!

Cauliflower Purée

Cauliflower Purée

During the colder months comfort food such as mashed potatoes always fit me well. For this dinner I decide to mix my mashed potatoes with cauliflower to make a cauliflower purée. It is a very lovely combination and a good way to sneak in some extra veggies!

To this dinner I suggest to drink a Sauvignon Blanc or a Riesling.
